u2bAmp privacy policy

Effective 17 October 2026. This policy describes the u2bAmp Android app and, in its specific section, the u2bamp.com website.

Controller and contact

Controller: Juan Pablo Navas, an individual in Argentina, trading as Flyka. App: u2bAmp; package com.flyka.u2bamp. Contact address: Avellaneda 206, postal code 1405, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Privacy and rights: privacy@flyka.ar. Help: support@flyka.ar.

Library and local storage

The app accesses files and metadata you choose to import or make accessible to play and organize music. It stores playlists, favorites, history and preferences locally. Some imports create copies inside app storage; others retain references to device files. Your music content is not included in our analytics events.

Android may back up or transfer settings according to system configuration. Do not rely on that backup as the only copy of your collection. Deleting a playlist, clearing app data, uninstalling and deleting an original file are different actions; keep copies of important files.

Optional app analytics

Versions that enable analytics use Google Analytics for Firebase after you accept. Declining does not remove features. You can change your choice under Information and privacy → Privacy → Usage statistics. Turning it off stops future measurement; it does not itself delete earlier data.

Our events describe opens and returns, imports using grouped counts, playback starts, playlist creation, Flow selection and error categories. They do not include songs, artists, titles, file or playlist names, URLs or free-text error messages.

Google's SDK also processes app-instance identifiers and technical and interaction data such as app version, system/device and session activity. It may record automatic first-open, update and engagement events depending on that version's SDK and configuration. Google may infer approximate location from the connection; these data are not described as anonymous. We do not use these statistics for personalized advertising or link them to our own account ID.

GA4 is configured to retain detailed data subject to that control for two months, without resetting retention on new activity. Aggregated reports and the provider's deletion cycles have different rules. Local deletion-request references are encrypted and excluded from backup; they expire 90 days after their last update and are purged when the app opens.

Pro purchases and license

Android versions of u2bAmp with purchases enabled use Google Play and RevenueCat to validate licenses, restore Pro and handle purchases and refunds. RevenueCat processes a pseudonymous app identifier, purchase data and status, and transaction country or country inferred from the connection. License checks may connect even if you declined usage statistics. This integration does not send music or playlists. Play processes payment; u2bAmp does not receive your card number.

We retain commercial data needed to manage the license and restoration while that relationship continues, subject to verified deletion requests and justified retention obligations. We will explain the basis and applicable period or criteria for retained data. Analytics retention does not determine purchase-data retention. See data and deletion requests for the procedure and its limits.

RevenueCat also provides the controller with purchase and commercial-status reports. See its privacy policy. We do not use these data for personalized advertising.

Permissions and connections

Android media access allows the app to locate, import and play accessible audio and video files. Older systems request storage access. If you use sensory features, camera permission controls the torch without taking photographs; vibration and notifications support the corresponding controls and background playback. You can manage permissions in Android; revocation may limit the relevant feature.

Features that request remote fonts, artwork or content send the request and necessary connection data to the chosen server. The current version bundles its fonts locally; older versions loading Google Fonts could send requests to that provider. These connections are separate from optional analytics and depend on the features you use. They do not give external servers your entire library.

Google processes analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase and payments through Google Play; RevenueCat processes the commercial data described above and Zoho Mail processes support email. These providers may process data outside Argentina under their terms and applicable legal safeguards. See Firebase privacy, Analytics terms and Zoho privacy. We do not sell your personal data.

Support, retention and rights

When you email us, we receive your address and the content you choose to send to reply, resolve the issue and handle your rights. Do not initially attach music, passwords or identity documents. Our policy is to delete identifiable content from ordinary support inquiries within 90 days after closure, unless a legal obligation or claim justifies keeping limited data. Zoho has Trash and recovery cycles; moving a message to Trash is not immediate deletion.

You can request access, correction, updating or deletion at privacy@flyka.ar. We ask only for proportionate information to verify the request. In Argentina, the statutory periods are 10 calendar days for access and 5 business days for correction, updating or deletion, as applicable. You may complain to the AAIP. Mandatory rights in your country remain unaffected.

For earlier analytics, see how to request deletion. Receipt is not confirmation of completed deletion: we will communicate status and provider limitations. Your email alone does not identify all your installations.

Website privacy

These legal and help pages contain no measurement scripts or forms. Vercel hosts the website and processes technical connection data necessary to serve and protect it, such as IP address and request information; see its Privacy Notice.

The landing page and website demonstration use Umami Cloud to measure visits and actions such as playback, material changes or opening social links. The website adapter sends only allowed paths and action categories, without song titles or form data, and respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The connection lets the provider receive technical browser data. See Umami privacy. Website measurement is separate from the Android app's analytics choice.

Security, minors and changes

We use access controls and safeguards appropriate to the data; absolute security is not possible. u2bAmp is intended for people aged 13 or older, not younger children. If your law requires adult authorization for optional data processing, obtain it before enabling it; if unsure, leave it disabled and contact us. A responsible adult may request assistance with a child's rights subject to proportionate verification.

We will publish material changes with their date and request a new choice when expanding processing that requires consent. Using the app or reading this policy does not replace that consent.
